Screening asylum seekers in Denmark for torture using a structured questionnaire

The United Nations Committee against Torture recommends systematic torture screening throughout the asylum process. goal of this study is to evaluate introduction a structured questionnaire, coding for according definition from Convention Against (UNCAT). This now an integrated part medical reception newly arrived seekers
 was carried through during 2 years period as routine health screening, and alleged victims were referred further examination offered assistance carry information about Immigration Service. participation rate 85.2%, reported among 27.8% males, with mean 21.2% both sexes.
